The Park Hotel, which also sponsors the group’s shirts, donated half the ticket cost to CHSS.
Sheena Thomson, honorary group secretary of Killie Heartmates, said: “After last year’s inaugural Tartan Tea Party was a success, our chairman and committee decided we wanted to host another party again this year with the support of The Park Hotel.

“It was fantastic to have Provost Claire Leitch open the event.
“We have had a lot of support from The Park Hotel, so it’s great to be involved with them again for this event and we want to thank them for their help on the day.”
CHSS is encouraging people across the region to take part in its wider Tartan Tea Party fundraiser to support the one in five Scots living with chest, heart and stroke conditions or Long Covid.
Kim Kilgour, community fundraiser at CHSS, said: “We’re delighted to see Killie Heartmates celebrate their Tartan Tea Party at The Park Hotel once again this year.

“Living with or supporting someone with one of our conditions can be challenging and events such as the Tartan Tea Party are crucial to create time for people to get together, share support and advice as well as have fun.”
