Leicestershire to showcase £4bn of investment opportunities at UKREiiF

A consortium of private and public sector partners will attend the UK’s biggest real estate event this month to showcase investment opportunities across Leicester and Leicestershire. 

Invest in Leicester will join up with Team Leicester, Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council will highlight the area at UKREiiF through investor receptions, dinner events and key speaker slots for the property and construction industry.  

Mike Denby, director of inward investment and place marketing at Leicester City Council, said: “With our largest delegation to date, we are representing local authorities from across the entire region. This year, we are participating in 11 events to showcase over £4bn in commercial and residential development opportunities. 

“UKREiiF is consistently a highlight for our region, and we look forward to another productive trip to Leeds. 

“We are incredibly grateful to our private sector partners who have turned out in force to champion Leicester and Leicestershire – look out for those wearing the ‘Team Leicester’ badges.”

Over the three days of UKREiiF the Invest in Leicester consortium will be participating in events covering topics from investment readiness, town and city centre regeneration, challenges of large scale sustainability and community first design, sector skills development, women in construction and why the Midlands is the ‘ultimate testbed for viability’. 

They will also host a drinks reception and dinner aiming to engage with more than 200 delegates providing opportunities for property and construction industry leaders to engage with senior council officers. 

UKREiiF takes place between 19-21 May 2026 in Leeds.
