According to The Economic Times, Ranbir Kapoor has purchased a land parcel worth ₹3.31 crore at ‘The Sarayu’, a premium real estate project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha in Ayodhya. The land parcel measures 2,134 square feet and reflects the growing demand for luxury-branded plotted developments in the holy city.
In a statement, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling. Ayodhya is deep rooted in our history and is a critical part of our cultural fabric. This land at The Sarayu became my gateway to ensuring this becomes a part of my legacy for my family. HoABL made this journey seamless, transparent and easy with their fully digital process.”

The luxury development project in Ayodhya, where Ranbir Kapoor recently invested, is designed to offer a premium living experience with modern lifestyle facilities. Spread across 75 acres, the project will feature a lavish clubhouse, more than 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre fully vegetarian luxury hotel managed by The Leela. As per the developers, the township will combine world-class infrastructure with carefully planned community spaces focused on comfort, security, and long-term investment value
Not just Ranbir, Amitabh Bachchan has also been steadily expanding his real estate investments in the holy city. According to Hindustan Times, the veteran actor purchased a 2.67-acre land parcel worth ₹35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha in March 2026, marking his third property investment in Ayodhya. Before that, he reportedly acquired a 25,000-square-foot plot near The Sarayu for nearly ₹40 crore in May 2025, following an earlier purchase of a 10,000-square-foot plot at The Sarayu in 2024 for ₹14.5 crore.
