“Simplifying the way brokers do business with us will always be a key priority, allowing us to help free up their valuable time so they can do more of what matters most — supporting clients.”

Newcastle for Intermediaries has launched a new mortgage platform for its broker partners.
Following the announcement of its new broker website and brand refresh earlier this year, the lender has now launched a new intermediary mortgage platform. Built by the society’s technology subsidiary Newcastle Strategic Solutions and developed in collaboration with brokers across the UK, the platform aims to make it easier, quicker, and more efficient for brokers to do business.
Among the new features of the platform, brokers can expect a streamlined process from DIP to full mortgage application, alongside easy document upload and case progress tracking. The platform also includes the option to navigate between application sections as they discuss an application with their client.
Brokers can edit existing applications without the need to clone or duplicate work, with the option to add clients’ solicitor details during application and direct integration to the lender’s conveyancing panel manager. To support expectations under Consumer Duty for clients in vulnerable circumstances, the platform also offers the ability to capture additional support requirements.
Michael Conville, chief customer officer at Newcastle Building Society, said: “Built in the spirit of true collaboration and partnership with our trusted broker community, our new mortgage platform completely transforms the current application journey.
“Following the recent launch of our new website, this is another landmark step in demonstrating our commitment to developing technology-based solutions that truly benefit our intermediary partners. Simplifying the way brokers do business with us will always be a key priority, allowing us to help free up their valuable time so they can do more of what matters most — supporting clients.”
