Norfolk and Suffolk pitching counties to investors at UKREiiF

UKREiiF, which got under way on Tuesday and runs until Thursday, brings together more than 16,000 investors, developers, local authorities and partners from across the UK’s real estate and infrastructure sectors.

The two counties are pitching a joint investment offer from a dedicated pavilion, where visitors will be able to meet Penny – an interactive AI avatar with facts and insight about what powers Norfolk and Suffolk’s economies. The AI avatar was developed by SKC Studios, based in Haverhill.

The 60-plus investment opportunities span commercial development for key sectors, housing and major regeneration.

The pavilion programme will feature a line-up of business leaders who are driving change and growth across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Lisa Perkins, Suffolk Business Board chairwoman, and Nick Steven-Jones, chairman of the Norfolk Business Board, are both attending the event, alongside representatives from the public and private sectors, including local district councils.

Ms Perkins said: “Suffolk and Norfolk combine a strong economy, productive partnerships and an investment-ready pipeline, making the region well placed for growth.

“We look forward to UKREiiF and the opportunity to engage in informed conversations with investors. Together with our avatar, Penny, we will be on hand to answer questions and highlight the opportunities across our region.”
