- Rare: Less common than Classic cards, Rare cards offer additional value and exclusivity.
- Ultra-Rare: The rarest cards, these offer the highest level of exclusivity and are likely to be the most sought after by collectors.
- Dynamic Stats: Player statistics on the cards will update dynamically throughout the season based on real-life performances. This feature ensures that the cards remain current and reflective of the players’ actual performances on the field.

Fans will have the opportunity to collect these cards through various means:
- Purchasing Packs: Fans can buy packs of cards, each containing a mix of Classic, Rare, and potentially Ultra-Rare cards. A pack of seven cards spanning the three rarities will cost 3 pounds. It was mentioned on the town hall there will likely be an exclusive window for Devil holders.
- Trading with Other Fans: The platform will facilitate trading between fans, allowing them to complete their collections and obtain their favorite players.
- Seasonal Updates: As the season progresses, new cards will be released to reflect new player statistics and achievements, keeping the collection dynamic and engaging.
- New Signings: New signings will be added through the transfer windows. As an example, it will be possible to hold the Joshua Zirkzee card before he has even played for United.
Fantasy United
In addition to the Player Trading Cards, Manchester United is launching Fantasy United, a fantasy football game that leverages the trading cards. Key features of Fantasy United include. Every Manchester United game will have a fantasy game attached to it.
- Squad Creation: Fans can build a five-player squad from their collection of trading cards. This allows for strategic selection based on player strengths and upcoming matches. Of the 5 players, participants will pick 3 of their classic cards, which score normal points. One of their rare cards which score double points. One of their ultra-rare cards which score triple points.
- Performance-Based Points: Squads will earn points based on players’ actual performances in matches. Metrics such as goals, assists, tackles, and saves will determine the points scored. The full scoring system will be revealed in due course.
- Competitive Leagues: Fans can compete in various leagues, including:
- Mini-Leagues: Small, private leagues where fans can compete with friends.
- Broader Competitions: Larger leagues featuring legends and celebrities.
- Local Leagues: Competitions against other fans in their local area.
This game offers a unique way for fans to engage with the matches and their favorite players in real-time.
Community Engagement and Events
The recent Town Hall event provided fans with a preview of these new offerings. A key feature of the event was the community team selection for an upcoming friendly match against Rangers. Fans voted for their preferred players, resulting in a team featuring:
