Just Mortgages has confirmed the hiring of a new area director to cover the North West region. Zarah Gulfraz is the woman who will be taking up this role.

Gulfraz is set to make Manchester the base of her operations and she will be in charge of the self-employed mortgage advisor division for the North West. That means collaborating with them in planning for the growth of their businesses, including using smart recruitment to build them in a profitable way.

She will bring plenty of experience within the industry to the role and will also be responsible for growing the Just Mortgages self-employed advisor division by bringing in fresh faces. Gulfraz has worked within the mortgage sector for almost a decade and a half, during which she has hired many advisors and helped them to build successful careers.

Before joining Just Mortgages, she spent half a decade at Mojo Mortgages. She started out as a mortgage advisor herself, before eventually rising to the position of sales manager. Her first job in the industry was at Britannia Building Society.

After her appointment was announced, Gulfraz told Financial Reporter that:

“I’m thrilled to be joining Just Mortgages and the self-employed team. I’ve always been hugely passionate about advice and using my skills to help brokers get to where they want to be.”

News that mortgage advisors based within the North West can get support of this calibre could well encourage more people to take CeMAP classes in Manchester so that they can qualify to provide advice.
