Fluent Money has appointed Martin Baker as director of mortgages and protection.

Joining the business on 8th July 2024, Martin brings 25 years’ experience in retail and financial services, including positions at Co-op and Barclays, and his most recent role as HSBC’s head of strategy and planning.

As a brand new role within Fluent, Martin will be responsible for continuing to grow the firm’s first charge and protection business.

On top of this, Martin will oversee customer service, focusing on optimising operational efficiencies and driving strategic initiatives that support Fluent’s long-term growth objectives.

Fluent Money was acquired by Mortgage Advice Bureau in 2022.
