Castle Trust Bank has strengthened its sales team with the recruitment of Nathan Thorne (pictured) as regional account manager for the South West.

Thorne has seven years’ experience in mortgages across a range of roles.

He started his career at broker firm CMME before moving to OneSavings Bank as a lending assessor and then Market Financial Solutions as a junior underwriter.

Most recently, he worked as a business development manager (BDM) at KSEYE.

In his new role, Thorne will take a proactive approach with broker firms in the South West, helping them to understand how Castle Trust Bank’s specialist bridging proposition could benefit their clients, as well as providing a dedicated point of contact for queries around any element of the lending process.

Anna Lewis, commercial director at Castle Trust Bank, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nathan to the Castle Trust Bank team to help us grow our business in the South West region.

“With previous experience working at a broker firm and in underwriting functions under his belt, Nathan has a range of skills and expertise to help brokers identify and structure lending solutions to help their property investor clients get more from their portfolios.”

Thorne added: “Castle Trust Bank has an award-winning Bridging proposition and a strong reputation for providing brokers with a unique combination of flexibility and certainty.

“I’m excited to join the team and play my part in continuing to build on this reputation, helping more brokers in the South West to deliver great outcomes to more of their clients.”
