The Donald Trump criminal trial proceedings in New York on Tuesday started with the former president being found in contempt for violating a gag order, before moving onto testimony that included a lawyer who had represented former model Karen McDougal and adult-film actress Stormy Daniels.
Lawyer Keith Davidson testified about behind-the-scenes arrangements that he said involved McDougal and Daniels in connection with their alleged experiences with Trump.
