Princess Andre has hit back at trolls who claimed her famous parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price, bought her her very first car after she shared a snap of the vehicle.
Princess Andre was tickled by the snide remarks from trolls who insinuated her first vehicle was a present from her celebrity folks, Peter Andre and Katie Price. The 17 year old recently flaunted her first ride on her Instagram – a white Audi A1 adorned with a custom plate spelling out ‘PRINCESS’.
“I bought my first car,” she declared in her post on Wednesday. Despite heaps of positive reactions, some naysayers trudged through to suggest the gift came courtesy of her parents.
“Let’s just say mummy and daddy brought your first car,” one troll speculated while another lamented: “Wish I had rich parents.”
Catching on to the buzzing scepticism, Princess couldn’t resist responding directly in the comments, chuckling: “These comments are so funny [laughing emojis].”
She continued proudly, asserting her financial independence: “To everyone out there, yes I work and yes I earn my own money which I’m super proud of and so thankful that I’m lucky enough to buy my own car.”, reports the Mirror.
Backing her up, fans interjected their support; one said: “If Pete did buy it for her then what a lovely thing to do!! I would love to be able to buy my daughter her first car!! Maybe one day. And if she has bought it herself then what an achievement!! Well done Princess!!”
Another fan rallied: “Congratulations princess drive safe and don’t listen to the haters who are clearly jealous that at their age can’t afford a car like yours!”.
Peter Andre’s wife, Emily Andre, 35, who tied the knot with Peter, now 52, back in 2015, was quick to engage with the post this evening. Dropping a flame and heart emoji, Emily expressed her delight by commenting: “Yay” under Princess’ post.
Even Princess’ mother Katie, 47, chimed in with her emotions, re-sharing her daughter’s post on her own Instagram Story.
Her caption reflected mixed feelings: “So proud and so scared at the same time my baby girl turns 18 next month too so lots of exciting things we will be doing together.”
In the weeks preceding, Princess had some cheer-worthy news as she announced passing her driving test. On May 14, Princess informed her Instagram followers of her success, succinctly declaring: “I passed…” A photo accompanied the announcement, showing the thrilled teenager with her driving certificate, smiling broadly in the driving seat.
Rewind a bit further, and you’ll find Peter generously gifting his son Junior an Audi A1 for his 17th birthday – even before the lad had his driving licence in hand.
Peter spared no expense on the vehicle, decking it out with a personal registration and bespoke green calipers. Junior could hardly contain his excitement over his “dream car”.
