Jameel Lalani (pictured) has joined Compare the Market as commercial director for money.
Lalani will be responsible for Compare the Market’s money products, including credit cards and personal loans as the price comparison website works to expand its choice for customers.
He joins Compare the Market from the Proptech company Smoove, where he spent four years as chief product officer.
Before this, Lalani spent nearly five years at Moneysupermarket Group, where he held commercial director roles covering mortgages, banking and MoneySavingExpert.
His appointment is part of a wider acceleration of Compare the Market’s expansion across product lines outside of insurance.
