HUNTED is back for its 8th series, continuing the high-stakes game of evading capture that first captivated audiences back in 2015.

During the last 10 years, the show has proven itself to be more than just your average reality show.

Now, with the evolution of social media and detection technology it seems it may be even harder than it’s ever been to stay under the radar.

The last series to air concluded with a successful evasion for three fugitives: the sibling duo Jaxon and Nicola, and solo fugitive Sade.

There has also been several celebrity editions of the show with the latest edition including  Denise WelchChristine McGuinness and Duncan James.

A new crop of 14 fugitives, running in seven pairs, is now on the run for Series 8, having set off from Stansted Airport.

The confirmed pairs for the eighth series are:

  • Andrew & Robin: Friends from West Dorset
  • Jenni & Emma: Sisters from Barnsley and Harrogate
  • Cameron & Simran: Engaged couple from Wolverhampton
  • Sean & Marie: Married couple from Bristol
  • Ste & Chris: Friends from Warrington
  • Shaq & Warren: Brothers-in-law from Brixton
  • Saffron & Dionne: Mother and daughter from Southend

When is Hunted on?

The 8th series of Hunted premiered on Sunday 12th October

Following the launch, the show will run for a total of six episodes until the series concludes in mid-November 2025.

Past series have achieved strong viewing figures, sometimes averaging around 2.5 million viewers per episode during its peak seasons.

What is Hunted’s prize money?

The prize money is a life-changing sum of £100,000.

The money is split equally among all the fugitives who successfully evade the Hunters for 21 days and reach the designated extraction point without being caught.

This shared-pot rule is central to the show as it means the successful capture of one fugitive by the Hunters increases the final prize money for those who remain on the run.
