The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued a new update about “work health and money” and is urging people to “check now”.

The government department has set up a “one-stop support hub”, mainly aimed at people aged between 45 and 65, though it adds people of any age can use it.

It has “trusted services, tools and charity resources to help you start thinking about your work, health and money with future planning in mind.”

In a new post on X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday DWP bosses said: “Check the status of your work health and money at our one-stop support hub to help you plan your future”, before linking to the hub.

People can undergo what has been described as a “digital Midlife MOT” to “make sure you are prepared for later life”. This includes “fine tuning your working life” and browsing more flexible options, as well as leaning new skills, “looking after your body and mind” and “understanding your money”.

People can also choose a “Midlife MOT goal”, such as “planning better for the future” or “re-entering the workforce after time away from employment”. You can find out more here
