(ABC 6 News) – New innovation could be on its way as life science leaders and investors gather in the Med City.
Alongside Destination Medical Center, investors and health experts are coming together this week to connect with new start-ups and grow their companies in communities like Rochester.
“There is no city in America who can claim to be home to the number one hospital in the world. That is something only Rochester can claim,” said DMC Executive Director Patrick Seeb. “We have an opportunity to leverage that to attract new businesses, to attract talent to move here, to attract people who want to live in a health-centric community.”
Around 200 representatives from companies across the country will meet over the next few days with the goal of encouraging collaboration and funding opportunities.
