Tesla Inc.’s enduring popularity in Norway is bucking a wider European trend, thanks to zero-interest financing, the new Model Y and over a decade’s worth of brand familiarity.
Tesla has seen sales slump across Europe, reflecting both the company’s limited vehicle selection, as well as a consumer backlash against its polarizing chief executive officer, Elon Musk. There was also a brief dip in registrations at the start of the year in the Nordic country, before a March rebound.
