Nine colleagues from Poole-based MSP Capital are trading their desks for an hour of muddy challenges to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The team will participate in the ‘Poole Pretty Muddy 5k,’ part of the charity’s Race for Life events, at Baiter Park on Saturday, 1 June 2024.
The team, organised by an in-house committee overseeing the community-giving aspect of MSP Capital’s environmental, social, and governance strategy, aims to raise £500.
Louise Garner, junior underwriter and committee member, said: “We hope to have lots of fun, all in a great cause. Colleagues from different departments across MSP Capital are taking part, and although this may be way out of the comfort zone for some, we’re determined to do our best.”
Race for Life events have raised over £970m for cancer research since they began 30 years ago, funding advancements such as radiotherapy services that help more than 130,000 people with cancer in the UK annually.
