Paschal Donohoe says it’s ‘not possible’ to remove sunscreen from highest Vat rate
Europe has been sweltering under one of the most extreme heatwaves ever recorded for this time of year, but the Government insists the 23pc Vat rate on sunscreen will not be reduced as it’s deemed a “non-essential item”.
Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe has said it is not possible to remove sunscreen from the highest Vat rate.
