Greater Lincolnshire is set to unveil £4.2bn of investment opportunities and a pipeline of transformational projects at UKREiiF.
Representatives from the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA), alongside the inward investment team from Lincolnshire County Council, will showcase a portfolio of strategic development opportunities with the launch of two flagship documents.
The Greater Lincolnshire Housing Pipeline and Investment Prospectus alongside an Investment Site Catalogue will be shared during the three-day event in Leeds next week – and collectively highlight development opportunities across the region, from Immingham down to Spalding and from Gainsborough across to Boston.
Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, cllr Sean Matthews, said: “Greater Lincolnshire sits at the heart of the UK’s nationally critical sectors of defence and security, agri food and tech, advanced engineering and manufacturing, logistics and energy. We feed Britain, we protect Britain and we help power Britain.
“Our region offers investors genuine scale and opportunity. By unlocking these opportunities, we are building a pipeline of transformational projects that will strengthen our economy, create jobs and support communities across Greater Lincolnshire. UKREiiF provides the perfect platform to showcase what our region has to offer.”
The Greater Lincolnshire Housing Strategy features 20 residential sites planned over the next five to ten years, while the Investment Prospectus and Investment Site Catalogue presents investment-ready commercial and mixed-use opportunities.
Greater Lincolnshire is also home to major strategic assets including Humber Freeport, STEP Fusion, Food Enterprise Zones, the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park.
Tony Reynolds, inward investment manager at Lincolnshire County Council and Team Lincolnshire lead, added: “This is our biggest and most ambitious presence at UKREiiF to date, with more investment opportunities being showcased than ever before.
“UKREiiF gives Greater Lincolnshire a strategic opportunity to connect directly with investors, developers and funding partners, and to demonstrate the scale, ambition and readiness of the opportunities available across our region.
“We are proud to be attending the event for the fifth consecutive year and exhibiting for the third.”
Taking place in Leeds from 19–21 May, UKREiiF is expected to attract more than 16,000 delegates, including over 3,500 investors and developers from across the UK and internationally.
