This week’s Scoop winner Irene McIlroy, 67, collected the £50 prize which she said she will split among the girls after spotting the sneaky pooch on page 15 of last week’s Weekend Tele.
Granny Irene, who was thrilled with the prize, said: “It’s absolutely fantastic. It’s to give it to my grandchildren, Daisy and Olly, they’re twins, and wee cousin Roma.
“They’re going on holiday in a couple of weeks after their exams, so that’ll be for spending money.”
She said it will be a great boost for the 15-year-olds once they get through the busy exam season.
