Founder Tom Pitman, 29, started TGP Mortgage & Insurance, in August 2024, after working in the field for seven years.
Based on Chester Street, Tom took on his first member of staff in January 2025.
Now TGP Mortgage & Insurance has been named winner of Mortgage Brokers of the Year in the Wales Prestige Awards 2026/27.
The awards celebrate small and medium-sized Welsh businesses demonstrating excellence, innovation, and consistent performance over the past year.
Thrilled Wrexham AFC season ticket holder Tom said: “It means a lot to be recognised in such a way, by no means do we feel we’re the best in Wales but this shows we’re doing something right and serving out clients well and getting good outcomes.
“This just adds to the appreciate and feedback we already get from our clients personally.”
Revealing the news to Tom, a spokesperson from the Wales Prestige Awards said: “The judges were impressed with your team’s personal touch, online activity/consistency of reviews and community feel.”
