A YOUNG woman has been accused by trolls of “begging” for money after asking strangers to buy items from her Amazon wish list.

Not only this, but whilst asking people online to treat her to homeware items, Keisha-Louise Lightfoot, 20, who recently split up with her ex-partner Dimitrios Fotis, who was 42 years her senior, has also been criticised for splashing cash on lip filler and tattoos.

Posting on social media, the influencer got candid on her situation, giving viewers an insight into why people think she is “begging.”

The self-deemed “young girl,” who has even made a ‘house funding’ PayPal page, so people can “chip in,” explained that she has “asked for a bit of help,” and acknowledged that any help is “not expected” but will make her feel “grateful.”

She shared: “I’ve had my whole wish list brought for me of the essential things I needed – I kept it all to a minimum, and I have now started a new wish list in my profile for the main house things I need.”

Keisha-Louise, who is from Great Yarmouth and previously splashed cash on Turkey teeth to fix her wonky gnashers, then explained that she is “just a 20-year-old girl completely starting from scratch.”

CASH CRISIS

I’m a 19-year-old single mum & I’m begging strangers for cash so I can buy food

MY WAY

I drive a Rangie & take solo hols… kids just have to share room in my council house

After leaving her “large age gap relationship” a year and a half ago, which she was in since she was 15-years-old, Keisha-Louise was denied a home from the council

She explained: “After I left the relationship, I seeked help from the council because I was only 18-years-old at the time – they basically turned around and said to me, ‘you don’t look very homeless.’”

As a result, she moved in with a friend for a month, and then moved in with another pal back in November 2024.

Just three months ago, Keisha-Louise, who earns money through TikTok’s Creator Fund, relocated to her sister’s house, but now, has had to leave and resort to renting privately so she can have space of her own.

She shared: “I then seeked help from the council again, in which they turned me away, so I had to private rent, and that has basically led me to the situation I’m in now – that’s why I’ve asked for a little bit of help and any help that I receive, obviously I overly appreciate.

“I understand that everybody is in a financial situation themselves, so I haven’t asked for much, nor do I expect much, but obviously, everything helps.”

Eager for fans to help, she highlighted: “I have placed an Amazon wish list in my profile for anybody that does wish to help.”

Keisha-Louise’s Amazon wish list contains a variety of homeware items, including a King size bedding set for £14.99 and a black rug, also £14.99.

As well as this, Keisha-Louise is asking strangers to buy her black roasting tins for £13.99 and a kitchen knife set for £9.90.

But that’s not all, as on the wish list is also a £22.00 heater, a set of four oven dishes for £17.99 and foldable storage cubes for £7.99.

One item has already been purchased from the wish list – a set of two bedside tables for £33.99, which were slashed down from £39.99.

Big divide

But Keisha-Louise’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @nikeishalouise, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 300,400 views in just five days.

Social media users were divided by the video – whilst many were eager to help and shared support, others weren’t totally convinced.

One person said: “Ordered you something! Good luck!”

Another added: “We all need help at some point in life, good luck in your new home.”

A third commented: “I wish you nothing but the best in your new home. You’re trying so hard.”

But at the same time, one user simply snapped: “Greed.”

Having a wish list honestly gives me second hand embarrassment and reminds me of being a child. I’d have too much pride

A second fumed: “If you can get your lips done and hair you can clearly afford things, I understand the circumstances but if you can pay for all this fancy stuff then prioritise.”

Meanwhile, someone else fumed: “It absolutely boggles me that people ask others for money/gifts online now and that it’s become the norm. We all fall on hard times but most of us have no other option than to graft and make it work!

“Having a wish list honestly gives me second hand embarrassment and reminds me of being a child. I’d have too much pride. Luxuries should be the first to be cut out.”
