Hello everyone, I’m Dan Lucy on the Ozarks First digital desk.
The Major League trade deadline is 48 hours away.
And it looks like the St. Louis Cardinals may be selling at the deadline.
In our Cardinals Nation update.
One big target is St. Louis closer Ryan Helsley.
According to multiple reports, up to six teams, including the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in Helsley.
The 31-year has a 3-1 record with 21 saves this season.
His earned run average is 3.00.
When asked about the possibility of being traded Helsley said he feels that there’s a 90 percent chance that he will be delt.
Other Cardinals on the trading block may be third baseman Nolan Arenado and pitcher Sonny Gray.
And outgoing President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak says no Cardinal is untouchable on the team.
Stay tuned in the next few days.
