Burges Salmon advised Blackfinch Energy, part of Blackfinch Group, on its acquisition of Muirhall Wind Farm Extension, the high-performing wind project based in South Central Scotland.

The firm said: “The site, just an hour’s drive from Edinburgh, is surrounded by several other turbines and stands out for its impressive scale and production capacity.

“With blade tip heights reaching 147 meters, Muirhall Wind Farm Extension has some of the largest turbines in the Blackfinch portfolio and is one of Blackfinch Energy’s most significant assets for annual energy generation, with the capacity to produce approximately 19GWh annually, the equivalent of providing renewable energy to around 5,500 homes each year.”
